<br />Page ,g, <br /> <br />423' <br /> <br />The Building Inspector said he was prepared to tag the building as <br />there was no permit taken out and found out that Connelly Contracting <br />Company and Paper Calmenson were taking it up with the Council for <br />action as they were prepared to take out the necessary permits. <br /> <br />Mr. Mass stated a violation has been made and shonld be remedied and <br />wants the building removed. <br /> <br />Mr. Willmus claimed that when the new highway is in that the trucks <br />would have to go on the Highway and the side streets, such as Walnut, <br />could be posted so the trucks could not drive on them which would <br />keep the trucks further away from the residents. <br />Ordinance #176 be adopted and <br />Connor moved, Carlson seconded, that/the Paper Calmenson property <br />The Easterly l80 feet of the Westerly 346.2 feet of the South <br />220 feet of the North l/2 of the Southwest 1/4 of the Northwest <br />l/4 of Section 17, Township 29, Range 23, Ramsey County Minn. <br />be rezoned from Farm Property to Industrial Property. Roll call <br />Ayes-(4) Nayes-(O). Membrez not voting,. <br /> <br />Mr. Allen requested that the necessary permits be issued and agreed <br />to paying the necessary double fees. <br /> <br />Rudy Wolfgram appeared and asked what had been done in regard to <br />strengthening the Dog Ordinance. <br /> <br />Dog Ordinance.. <br /> <br />Clerk read a letter from Village Attorney Karon's office stating he has <br />been out of town and forwarded the amended Dog Ordinance. to the Clerk <br />before he left. <br /> <br />Mr. Krier appeared before the Council as requested in regard to the Depot Nite <br />matter of serving set-ups and serving to minors at the Depot Nite Club. Club <br />He claimed it just happened and would never happen again.while he was the <br />OVlTler. <br /> <br />Memhrez said that the council should go on record that if this should <br />happen again the licenses would be revokect. <br /> <br />Carlson said that we had promised to cooperate with the Shertff in <br />matters of this kind and believed this should be taken up with hi.m. <br /> <br />Mr. Krier claimed their big problem was keeping the minors out and <br />believes he has now built up a business of older people and does not <br />want trouble or to violate any laws. He now wants to sell the business <br />to Thomas Manskee, 3923 Bryant Ave" N., Minneapolis, and Frank Knoll Jr., <br />3926 Bryant Ave. N., Minneapolis, who appeared before the Council <br />wanting to inquire about licenses of the Depot Nite Club. They have had <br />no previous experience. Would like to hire the Roseville police or a <br />deputy to be at the door to stop the minors from even attempting to <br />come to the door. <br /> <br />Willmus said they should be advised that the first time they have <br />trouble, their licenses would be taken from them, and the place closed. <br /> <br />Willmus moved, Hammersten seconded, their application be accepted and <br />they be given a chance to see what they can do and if they run into <br />trouble to close the place down. Roll call Ayes-(S) Nayes-(O). <br />
