<br />VILLAGE COUNCIL OF ROSEVILLE <br />Continued Meeting Thursday Evening, Janua~ 14, 1954, at 7:30 P.M. <br /> <br />.~ <br /> <br />The Village Council met on the above date as a continuation of the regular <br />meeting of Tuesday, January 5, 1954, with the following members present: <br />Olson, Willmus, Carlson, Salverda, Ira Karen, Village Attorney, Milner <br />Carley, Village Engineer, and Frank Leinen, Treasurer, were also present. <br /> <br />The Clerk read the Annual Financial Report. <br /> <br />Oarlson moved, seconded bJr Olson, that the Financial Report be accepted. <br />Roll call Ayes-(5) Nayes-(O). <br /> <br />Carlson moved, seconded by Olson, that Taylor & McCaskill audit the books <br />from breakoff period. Roll call Ayes-(S) Nayes-(O). <br /> <br />Hammersten moved, seconded by Olson, that the Treasurer's salary be <br />increased to $150.00 per month effective February 1, 1954. Roll call <br />Ayes-(5) Nayes-(O). <br /> <br />Frank Leinen asked for permission to appoint his wife as Deputy Treasurer <br />which he has a right to do. <br /> <br />Hammersten moved, seconded by Olson, that the Council hereby approve the <br />appointment of Susan Leinen as Deputy Treasurer effective February 1, 1954. <br />Roll call Ayes-(S) Nayes-(O). <br /> <br />_ Willmus moved, seconded by Olson, that we transfer $6,000.00 from the <br />Liquor Fund to Fire Protection.
