Roseville Public Works, Environment and <br />Transportation Commission <br />Agenda Item <br />Date: February 22, 2022 Item No: 4 <br />Item Description: Communication Items <br />Public Works Project updates: <br />• 2022 Sewer Lining <br />o The contract was awarded to Hydro-Klean on December 6, 2021. The project consists <br />of lining 5.6 miles of pipe within the city. Work has begun televising and cleaning <br />sewers within Roseville. Work is anticipated to be completed by the Fall of 2022. <br />o Civic Campus Pre -Design Project: The City has hired BKV Group to continue the Civic <br />Campus Master Plan planning and concept design to further develop the concepts for <br />the Maintenance Facility, the License and Passport Center and the VFW in order to <br />better define costs and phasing plans. This project is also helping us as we possibly <br />seek to use Local Sales Tax revenue to fund the actual construction of these facilities. <br />Ramsey County Updates: <br />• County Road B2 Resurfacing and Signal Improvements <br />o Work on the three signals east of Fairview is completed and all signals are operational <br />and the pavement work between Snelling and Hamline is completed. The signal at the <br />Fairview and County Road B2 intersection will be replaced next spring. The trail on the <br />north side of County Road B2 under the Snelling Ave bridge was recently opened to the <br />public. The pavement between Fairview and Snelling will be completed next spring as <br />well. <br />Council Update: <br />Below is a highlight of items recently presented to and/or acted on by the City Council. More <br />information can be found in the agenda packets and minutes for the referenced Council meeting. <br />o January 31 <br />• Approved preliminary plat for Victoria Shores on the west side of Lake Owasso. <br />• Joint meeting with the Planning Commission to discuss updates to the Zoning <br />Code. <br />• Authorized preparation of a feasibility report for the reconstruction of County <br />Road B west of Cleveland Ave. <br />February 14 <br />• Awarded Bid Package 1 for the OVAL construction project. <br />• Received update on use of ARPA funds. <br />• Discussed timeline of a Community -wide Visioning Process. <br />
