Sustainability Update <br />Staff created a monthly sustainability update to highlight what we have done over the past <br />month and what we are planning to work on. This update will be emailed to our <br />Sustainability Notify -Me list, our Energy Action Team, and can be found on our website: <br />www.CitvOfRoseville.com/Sustainability. The February update is attached as <br />Attachment C. <br />Partners in Energy <br />o Staff continues to meet with Partners in Energy every other week to discuss the current <br />work and the next steps to implement the plan. <br />o Partners in Energy and City staff held a Renewable Roseville webinar on Thursday, <br />January 13. The webinar was focused on renewable energy resource options available <br />to residents. Our ask for the attendees was to get 30 properties signed up for <br />Windsource in 30 days. As of the end of January, there were six new subscribers to the <br />program. <br />o Neel Energy created a translated Low Income/Energy Burden Flyer in Nepali that the <br />City can use in our outreach materials. <br />o Staff started researching takeout container packaging, and what other cities have done. <br />Staff will provide an update at a later PWETC meeting. <br />o More information can be found at www.CitvOfRoseville.com/Partners-in-Energy <br />Major Maintenance Activities: <br />• Street and Storm <br />0 10" of Snow in Roseville since 1/15/22 Total to date 34" in Roseville. <br />0 1 Full Plow. <br />0 7 other events were plowing and treating Collector Routes only. <br />o Tree Trimming is ongoing. <br />0 4 additional water breaks now have temporary concrete patches. Total water break <br />patches with concrete for the season is 9. <br />o Sign work repair continues. <br />o Ongoing monthly leaf turning at our Leaf Recycling Center. <br />• Water and Sanitary Sewer <br />o Located city -owned facilities for Gopher State One Call locate requests. <br />o Made site visits to all lift stations weekly. <br />o Repaired the Center Street lift station. Pump full of disposal wipes. <br />o Repaired 2 broken water mains. <br />o Repaired 1 leaking valve. <br />o Verified accuracy of the flow meter at the Booster Station. <br />o Continued repairing water meters and MIUs. <br />o Collected water samples for bacteriological testing. <br />o Continued working with AE2S on the 2021 SCADA System Upgrades. <br />o Continued laundering towels weekly used by office personnel for cleaning work areas. <br />o Assisted with snowplowing streets and cul-de-sacs as needed. <br />Attachments <br />A: 2022 Roseville Project Map <br />B: February Development Activity Report <br />C: February Sustainability Update <br />
