EXECUTIVE SUMMARY <br />BKV <br />G R O U P <br />uxxscx r.0 <br />LJ� <br />F <br />EXISTING ROSEVILLE CIVIC CAMPUS <br />Jk <br />Although the Roseville Ice Arena and the Guidant John Rose MN Oval [referred to herein as <br />'Skating Center'] are located directly west of the Clty's Civic Campus, the Skating Center was <br />excluded from this planning given the understanding that the facility's spatial needs are currently <br />met. The City also identified the desire and need to retain the area known as Memorial Park in Its <br />current location, located along the western edge of the City Hall facility. The park area includes lit <br />flags and landscaping. <br />VFW - Post 7555, located west of the License Center and north across Woodhlll Drive from the <br />current Roseville Maintenance buildings and yard, sits on a site surrounded by city -owned property <br />and Veteran's Park. Including the VFW as a key project stakeholder allowed the city to explore <br />options that would relocate the VFW to allow the site north of Woodhlll to be used fully and <br />efficiently while keeping this valuable community asset In its current neighborhood. <br />PROJECT GOALS <br />The following project goals were developed by the Planing Committee as a tool to inform the <br />decision -making process and to shape development of master planning recommendations.
