351 Chair Wozniak thought as part of what Mr. Culver provided, there would be abullet <br />352 point on the list stating the Commission encourages the City Council to declare a <br />353 climate emergency in Roseville as proposed at the January City Council meeting. <br />354 <br />355 Mr. Culver suggested it could be softened up by stating the Commission <br />356 recommends the City Council consider adopting resolution recognizing the global <br />357 climate emergency committing to the action items. <br />358 <br />359 The Commission liked what Mr. Culver suggested. <br />360 <br />361 Motion <br />362 Member Wozniak moved, Member Ficek seconded, to recommend the City <br />363 Council consider adopting the resolution recognizing the global climate <br />364 emergency and committing to the action items. <br />365 <br />366 Ayes:6 <br />367 Nays:0 <br />368 Motion carried. <br />369 <br />370 10. Discussion on Postponed Tour <br />378 Environmental Specialist Ryan Johnson made a presentation to the Commission on <br />379 the Ramsey County Ditch 4 project. <br />380 <br />381 City Engineer/Assistant Public Works Director Jesse Freihammer updated the <br />382 Commission on the RCD 4 & Twin Lakes Trail construction and costs. <br />383 <br />384 Mr. Culver indicated beyond the trees the City planted, there were also native <br />385 grasses and savannah seed mix that were planted. This will create a more prairie <br />386 look with low maintenance and very pollinator friendly. <br />387 <br />388 12.
