Carley reported <br />that their is insufficient funds in the Village to take care of this <br />atffihe present time and that each arc light would cost the Village <br />)]0.00 per year. <br /> <br />Hammersten reported on the neli police department. hr. Ray Goneau <br />1377 Sandhurst, and a resident of Eoseville, with many years experience <br />as a policeman and detective, has ~)een éJ.~)pointed Chief of Police and <br />will pick 6 men who Hill be trained and ììJOrk part time. Hr. Goneau <br />will make his recommendations for the C01XQcil1s approval. <br /> <br />Olson moved, seconded by Hammersten that the Attorney and III'. íì-oneau <br />meet vTÍth the Chief of Police from St. Paul to set up rules and re- <br />gulations. At the present time we <br />have $5,000 set up for the police department. <br /> <br />Hammersten moved, seconded by Olson that specifications on police cars <br />be adopted and that bids be open at 2:00 P.M.
