This project is also helping us as we possibly seek to use Local Sales Tax revenue to <br />fund the actual construction of these facilities. <br />Ramsey County Updates: <br />• County Road B2 Resurfacing and Signal Improvements <br />o All work is completed <br />• County Road B2/Lexington Intersection Improvements <br />o Work began on June 13 and will continue through mid -August. <br />o Work consists of replacing the signal lights and adding turn lanes for both legs of <br />County Road B2. <br />Currently Lexington Avenue is open to traffic but County Road B2 will remain closed. <br />The intersection will be fully opened for the Rosefest parade. <br />MnDOT Updates: <br />• Snelling Avenue Cable Median <br />o Work began on April 25. MnDOT's contractor installed a cable median on Snelling <br />Avenue between County Road C and I-694. All work is complete. <br />Miscellaneous Updates: <br />• Neel Gas Project <br />o Neel Energy will be completing its Northeast Metro Gas project this summer. The gas <br />main will be replaced on County Road B between Hamline Avenue and Lexington <br />Avenue and on Hamline Avenue between County Road B and County Road C. Work <br />began on Monday April 16. Current work is on Hamline Avenue with the following <br />impacts: <br />• Hamline Avenue, between Brooks Avenue/Willow Circle and County Road B2 <br />• Line installation and material staging. <br />• One-way northbound only traffic. <br />• Intersection of Hamline Avenue and County Road B2 <br />• Line installation. <br />• Shifting lane closures. <br />• Hamline Avenue, between County Road B2 and County Road B <br />• Line installation, material staging and restoration. <br />• One-way northbound only traffic. <br />• Sidewalk and crosswalk closures. <br />• County Road B, between Hamline and Lexington avenues <br />• Line installation, material staging and restoration. <br />• One-way westbound only traffic. <br />Council Update: <br />• Below is a highlight of items recently presented to and/or acted on by the City Council. <br />More information can be found in the agenda packets and minutes for the referenced <br />Council meeting. <br />o June 6 <br />• Approved the vacation of an easement at 2560 Fry Street <br />• Approved the vacation of a utility easement related to Victoria Shores <br />development. <br />• Approved Genisys Credit Union Public Improvement Contract. <br />• Approved amendment to Midland Legacy Estate 3`d Addition Public <br />Improvement Contract. <br />
