RCA Attachment D
I NTEROFFICE M EMORANDUM
Date: May 16, 2022
To: Bryan Lloyd, Senior Planner
From: Matthew Johnson, Assistant Director, Parks and Recreation
RE: Edison Development
The Parks & Recreation Department reviewed the proposed plansfor the project noted above
infrastructure:
The Parks and Recreation Commission (PRC) reviewed this proposed project regarding
park dedication on May 3, 2022. They recommended cash at the
2022 fee of $4,250 per unit.
Based on the proposal, the developer would pay $505,750 ($4,250 x 119 units in phase I and II)
at the time of final plat. The developer would pay park dedication fees for Outlot A at the time
that that parcel is replatted into a developable site.
Currently, the Parks and Recreation System Master Plan does not specifically identify this
area of Roseville for additional park land. However, this development has, and will
continue to, increase the number of users at Sandcastle Park. Park Dedication funds could be
considered for additional analysis and alterations to accommodate the increased use.
