The HHW collection use shall be administratively reviewed on an annual basis on the 31 32 anniversary date of the resolution granting the renewed INTERIM USE approval, with a 33 staff report submitted to the Planning Commission and City Council as needed to address 34 operational or maintenance issues that may arise. 35 Elimination of this condition is with recognition the Community Development Department 36 already has the tools and authority to address any conditions that may arise in the future related 37 to the HHW facility use. Additionally, the timing of this condition was not ideal given the site is 38 generally not open on the IU renewal date, which is when the inspection was to occur. 39 S UGGESTED C ITY C OUNCIL A CTION 40 Adopt a Resolution (Attachment B)approving the continuation of the seasonal household 41 hazardous waste collection facility at 1725 Kent Street for Ramsey County Public Healthas an 42 INTERIM USE for an additional 5 years, including elimination of the condition of approval noted in 43 previous IU approvals/renewals. Elimination of thecondition is with recognition the 44 Community Development Department already has the tools and authority to address any 45 conditions that may arise in the future related to the HHW facility use. 46 A LTERNATIVE A CTIONS 47 a.Pass a motion to table the item for future action. An action to table must be tied to the need 48 for clarity, analysis and/or additional information necessary to make a recommendation on 49 the request. Tabling beyond May 31,2022,would require extension of the 60-day action 50 deadline established in Minn. Stats. 15.99. 51 b.Pass a motion denying the proposal.
