Attachment B <br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />1 Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City <br />rd <br />2 of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was held on the 23day of May 2022,at 6:00 p.m. <br />3 The following Members were present: <br />4 and ___ was absent. <br />5 Council Member_________introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />6 RESOLUTION NO._______ <br />7 A RESOLUTION APPROVING A FIVE-YEAR EXTENSION TO RAMSEY COUNTY’S <br />8 EXISTING HOUSEHOLD HAZARDOUS WASTE COLLECTION SITE AS AN <br />9 INTERIM USE IN ACCORDANCE WITH §1009.03OF THE ROSEVILLE CITY CODE <br />10 WHEREASthe subject property located at the northeast corner of Larpenteur Avenue and <br />11 Kent Streetis owned by Ramsey County, and <br />12 WHEREAS, Ramsey County has requested a 5-year extension of the approval of the <br />13 satellite household hazardous waste collection facility at 1725 Kent Street as an INTERIM USE; <br />14 and <br />15 WHEREAS, the household hazardous waste site operates on a seasonal schedule, <br />16 typically during the summer months; and <br />17 WHEREAS, the Roseville Planning Commission held the public hearing regarding the <br />18 proposedINTERIM USE renewal on May 4, 2022, voting 7-0 to recommend approval of the use <br />19 for an additional five years, based on the comments and findings of the staff report, which were <br />20 found to adequately address the City’s interests; and <br />21 WHEREAS, the Roseville City Council has determined that approval of the proposed <br />22 INTERIMUSE will not result in adverse effects on the public health, safety, and general welfare, <br />23 and that it will not impose additional costs on the public if it is necessary for the public to take <br />24 the property in the future; <br />25 NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Roseville City Council, to APPROVE <br />26 the proposed INTERIMUSE renewalin accordance with Section §1009.03 of the Roseville City <br />27 Code. <br />28 The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Council <br />29 Member _____ and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor: <br />30 and _____ voted against. <br />31 WHEREUPON said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />Page 1 of 2 <br /> <br />
