Benjamin Park

Roseville, MN 55113

Home or Cell Phone Number

Email Address

How many years have you been a Roseville resident? 7

Commission preference
Public Works, Environment & Transportation
Commission preference
Field not completed.
This application is for New Term
The City's commissions review specific areas of interest and provide advice to the city council. Please
describe why you want to serve on the commission(s) you listed.
As someone who attended and graduated from Roseville schools I grew up enjoying the benefits of a
well run and planned city. After returning 7 years ago and learning more about civic engagement and
the responsibility of residents to shape the city they want to see, I want to do my part in passing along
those benefits not only to my own three children, but for generations to come. Public works,
environment, and transportation are three of the most important aspects of a city that values both its
present and future residents. I am convinced that a vibrant city is one that pays careful attention to
environmental impacts, resident health, and ensuring safe transportation options for all ages and
abilities, and, if given the opportunity, I would commit to helping Roseville make choices that reflect
these values.
Please describe any activities, specific skills or experiences you have that you feel would be beneficial to
serving on the advisory commission(s) for which you are applying.
First and foremost, I am dedicated to always learning and would bring a thoughtful ear and open mind
to the commission. I understand that I have much to learn, and I was raised with a respect for those that
have gone before me.
