<br />The Attorney, B. H. Loftsgaarden, returned, after examination, the lease <br />of the Ramsey County Library for the building at Hm] ine and Co. Rd. B. <br />It was approved and signed by the Mayor and the Clerk. <br /> <br />Mr. Loftsgaarden also presented to the Council two bond forms he had <br />drawn up and wanted Mr. Carley to check over. <br /> <br />Mr. Lof'tsgaarden explained that it was his opinion that because Mr. Markham <br />has now applied for his license there was no dause to take him into court.,. <br /> <br />Olsom moved, seconded by Hammersten that the attorney be authorized to con- <br />fer with Judge Lebens and dismiss the case. He suggested nothing be decided until a com- <br />mittee met with city officials at a meeting which is scheduled for Oct. 201 <br />1954. Hammersten moved, seconded by Carlson that the Mayor be authorized <br />to attend, alcmg with the Village Engineer, a joint session of city and <br />county officials on the sewerage and drainage problem on Laxington between <br />Larpenteur and.... He installed a cesspool and septic tank at 628 <br />Shryer Ave. without a license or a permit and CCJa1Wl4ti it before any in- <br />spections. It was suggested he take out his license and bond and a permit <br />and do whatevør the inspector directed lúJn to. <br /> <br />Hammersten moved, Olson seconded that the next meeting be held on Nov. 3 <br />instead of November 2, because of the election.
