<br />1;56 <br /> <br />VILLAGE OF ROSEVILIE <br />Regular meeting of the Village Council Tuesday Nov. 16, 1954 2 p.m. <br />o <br /> <br />The Village Council Met on the above date with the following members <br />present: CarUon, Salverda, Olson, Wlllmus and Hammersten. Belden <br />Loftsgaarden, Village Attorney, was also present. , <br /> <br />Willmus moved, seconded by Olson that the minutes of the previous meet- <br />ing be a~proved as presented to the Council m~~bers. Roll &all Ayes (5) <br />Nayes (0). <br /> <br />Wm. Stenger asked permission to get building permits for homes on Dionne <br />St. between Dunlap and Lexington. Dionne St. is not graded a full <br />60 feet as yet and it was resolved Dec. 1953 that the street was to be <br />put in by the developers on Larpenteur Ave. after which time Dunlap St. <br />will be vacated. Mr. Stenger said he has had no luck in getting these <br />developers to finish the steeet. The Council held the matter over to <br />give them time to investigate. <br /> <br />Mr. McDougal brought in the easements necessary to have Prior Ave. cut <br />through to Roselawn. Hammersten moved, Olson seconded the easements <br />be accepted and recorded in the Court House. Roll Call Ayes (5)-Nayes 0 <br /> <br />A petetion was received by the Ccuncil from the property owners around <br />Lot 20 Woodlyn Park to have said lot rezoned from Cpmnercial to Resi- <br />dential Class A. This lot is located on the NW corner of So. Gwasso <br />Blvd. and Rice St. Olson moved, Hammersten seconded that the matter <br />be held over to the next meeting. Roll Call Ayes (5)-Nayes (0). <br /> <br />The Clerk read a letter from the County Commissioners asking the <br />members of the Council to meet with them and other Village Council <br />representatives on Thursday Nov. 18 at 3 P. M. at the office of Mr. M <br />Hoffman, to discuss the new TH 10 around or across Island Lake. <br /> <br />Mr. Carley presented a ~p of the Village with the roads colored <br />in red which will be plowed by the Couney. Willmus moved, seconded <br />by Carlson that the map be accepted and a copy sent to the County <br />Engineer. Roll Call Ayes (5)-Nayes (0). <br /> <br />Mr. Carley put in a recommendation that the Village accept Sum[Qer St. <br />for snow removal. Carlson moved, seconded by Hammersten that SummerJ <br />St. be accepted for anow removal. Roll Call Ayes (5)-Nayes (0). <br /> <br />The Engineer had been asked to get a price on a snow plow and he re- <br />ported back at this meeting. The Village can purchase a plow from <br />the FWD Co. for $494.00. Hammersten moved, Willmus seconded the snow <br />plow be purchased.
