Consider Adoption of Roseville's 2023 Legislative Priorities
City Manager Patrick Trudgeon briefly highlighted this item as detailed in the Re-
quest for Council Action and related attachments dated December 5, 2022.
Mayor Roe noted regarding the sustainable building code practices, he thought if it
is something the Council wants to have listed amongst the other priorities, there are
fairly broad items related to, for instance, transportation funding and some things
like that. It might make sense to have something in there to the effect of including
support for updates to the State Building Code related to sustainability. He knew
there was discussion at the last meeting looking to support State funding for the
existing regimen of incentives, short of the Building Code being updated, so they
make sure both are being hit. He noted it is probably something that can be handled
in one sentence or at most two that can be added as a bullet item.
