Sustainability Update • Roseville continues to lead 26 cities participating in the Intercity Home Energy Squad Challenge in HES visits per capita as of October 26 - httns://www.mncee.or�/2022-intercitv- challenge-home-energv-s quad • Staff is working with Neel Energy and the Center for Energy and Environment to promote Home Energy Squad, and has advertised a giveaway for up to 50 residents to receive a code for afree visit. • Staff is working on gathering information about the Inflation Reduction Act to provide guidance and supportfor residents looking to take advantage of the new incentives. • Staff continues to promote Roseville's Sustainable Steward Award - httn://www.cityofroseville.com/1824/Sustainable-Steward-Award. Major Maintenance Activities: • Street and Storm o Prepped License Center parking lot for contractor pave. o Ongoing sign work. o Streetscape completed fall cut backs. o Completed general street patching. o Completed 2023 PMP storm sewer inspections. o Assisted repairs/restoration of 2 water breaks. o Completed Fall Sweep. 10/20 thru 11/10/22. 0 11/14/22 Plow callout for 2.5" snowfall. 0 11/15/22 Plow callout for additional snowfall. Water and Sanitary Sewer o Located City -owned facilities for Gopher State One Call locate requests. o Made weekly site visits to all lift stations. o Continued repairing water meters and MIUs. o Continued working with contractor and electrician on motor issues at the St. Croix storm water lift station. Installed filters for the drives. o Continued working with AE2S on SCADA System Upgrades. o Continued laundering towels weekly used by office personnel for cleaning work areas. o In progress the 2022 sanitary sewer cleaning program. o All association irrigation meters removed. o New Altitude valve installed on Western Avenue. o Contractor replaced three hydrates that were hit/broken off. o New employee Ben Jensch is now onboard and learning his new role. o Flag pole lights have been repaired and one light pole at City hall parking lot. o The second A/C compressor for the PD roof top unit is now installed/repaired. o Repaired a broken watermain at 2669 Galtier St. Attachments A: 2022 Roseville Project Map B: October Development Activity Report C: Sustainable Roseville November/December Update
