81 P OLICY O BJECTIVE <br />82 Ensure compliance and consistency between the City’s 2040 Comprehensive Plan and the City’s <br />83 Zoning Code. <br />84 B UDGET I MPLICATIONS <br />85 On February 28, 2022 the City Council authorized a First Amendment to the professional services <br />86 agreement with HKGi providing an additional $15,000 to cover professional service costs related to <br />87 the second phase of Zoning Code amendments. Based on the funds that remained after the first phase <br />88 of amendments, the total cost to complete the second phase of amendments was approximately <br />89 $25,000. These funds were paid for from Community Development Fund balance. <br />90 R ACIAL E QUITY I MPACT S UMMARY <br />91 Impacts on racial equity were not considered in conjunction with the phase II amendments to the <br />92 Zoning Code. However, such impacts are not anticipated based on the Zoning Code topics proposed <br />93 for amendment. <br />94 S TAFF R ECOMMENDATION <br />95 Receive a presentation summarizing the Phase II Zoning Code amendments.
