Regular City Council Meeting <br /> Monday,January 30, 2023 <br /> Page 2 <br /> McCollor asked the church to help the City, the Police Department in particular, as they <br /> were trying to attend to the matter of homelessness, this growing matter of homelessness <br /> in their midst and she asked the church to provide shelter for a place for someone with their <br /> RV to come and take advantage and use their parking lot and that has led to a really re- <br /> warding relationship in the process and has really opened up the eyes of his congregation <br /> to the needs of this community and has put them on this journey they are slowly discover- <br /> ing. He explained he was at the meeting to invite the Council to come over the Prince of <br /> Peace Church and see what is transpiring.
