Thecity did major maintenancein 2006 wherea <br />section of ditch was mowed, graded, and a retaining wallis added. <br />Staff received quotes to do amajor vegetation removalin 2023. Minor maintenancehas been <br />completed since2006, butvegetation is now to thepointwhereathorough removalis needed to <br />keep the ditch operating as intended. <br />Davey Resource Group: $72,638.00 <br />Husky Construction, Inc: $139,883.71 <br />This maintenancework would befunded fromtheStormwater Utility Fund, StormWater <br />InfrastructureRehabilitation, of which thereis $600,000 in the 2023 approved budget. <br />Staff recommend thattheCouncilapprovethequoteof $72,638.00 for themaintenanceof City <br />Ditch 2. <br />Page1 <br /> <br />
