o Commission discussion —On April 24, Council will initiate review of commission scopes, duties and functions. • Parks Department o EAB Update • See attachment 5 • Envision Roseville o Council will receive an update on April 10, 2023 from the consultant. • Neel Gas Project o All major work is completed. Some minor restoration remains, but will have no impacts to the public. • Neel Pole Project o Neel Energy will replace or paint large transmission poles between Lake Bennett and Rice Street. Most poles run along the north side of South Owasso Boulevard. Work is underway and is expected to be completed by the end of April. Council Update: Below is a highlight of items recently presented to and/or acted on by the City Council. More information can be found in the agenda packets and minutes for the referenced Council meetings: o February 27 • Accepted Donation of Public Art Piece to the Harriet Alexander Nature Center. • Awarded Contract for a City -Wide Classification and Compensation Study. • Entering into the Fencing Consortium Joint Powers Agreement. o March 6 • Received Quarterly Equity Update. • Received 2022 Workforce Report. • Approved Long Lake Lift Station Easement Agreements. o March 20 • Received update on the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) spending plan. • Awarded American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds as grants to Non -Profits serving the community. • Received Fire Department Presentation & Update. • Amended Titles 8 and 10 of the City Code regarding shoreland, wetland, stormwater, and sustainability regulations. • Entered into Agreement with Burro Loco LLC as the Kitchen/Grill Vendor for the Cedarholm Community Building. • Approved resolution for Victoria Street Pathway grant application and committing to City's cost share. • Page 2 Page 17 of 67
