Regular City Council Meeting <br /> Monday, March 13, 2023 <br /> Page 7 <br /> number, and frequency of their meetings or any other aspects of the current system the <br /> Commission might consider asking to change. <br /> Mr. Trudgeon asked if Councilmember Etten had a time certain for that item. <br /> Councilmember Etten indicated it did not need to be at the March 20th meeting but an <br /> agenda coming up. <br /> Councilmember Strahan updated the Council on the Metro Cities' annual board meeting <br /> date. She wondered if the City needed to send a letter in regard to the bill mentioned <br /> about preemption. <br /> Mayor Roe thought, depending on the prospects of that bill, that the City may not need to <br /> send a letter. He noted it sounded from staff like it may not be moving that far. <br /> Mr. Trudgeon reviewed the information regarding the preemption bill with the City <br /> Council. He did not think a letter was needed but indicated it is up to the City Council. <br /> 12.
