• Neel Pole Project <br />o Neel Energy replaced or painted large transmission poles between Lake <br />Bennett and Rice Street. Most poles run along the north side of South Owasso <br />Boulevard. More information can be found in the agenda packets and minutes for the <br />referenced Council meetings: <br />o April 10 <br />• Received Update on City-wide Community Visioning Process. <br />• Approved Proposal for Engineering Services for Project 22-22, <br />South McCarrons Retaining Wall Construction Observation. <br />• Approved Resolution Authorizing Revocation and Designation of <br />Municipal State Aid Roads. <br />• Approved Ramsey County Ditch 4 Maintenance and Inspection <br />Memorandum of Agreement. <br />• Approved Metropolitan Council Environmental Services <br />Municipal Inflow and Infiltration Grant Agreement. <br />o April 17 <br />Discussed Classification and Compensation Study. <br />o April 24—planned agenda <br />• Recognize Out -Going City Commissioners. <br />• Discuss Commission Interview Process. <br />• Discussion on City Commission scope, duties, and functions. <br />• Approve St Paul Regional Water System (SPRWS) Contract <br />Amendment No. 3. <br />• Approve Metropolitan Council Easement Agreements. <br />Sustainability Update <br />• Conservation Minnesota is hosting a conference for MN cities Environment <br />Commissions to learn from other environmental commissions, see what issues are <br />affecting other communities in Minnesota, and network with other commission <br />members. There are in -person and virtual options available. The event is scheduled <br />for Saturday May 20 from 9am — 12:30pm at the Ridgedale Library in Minnetonka <br />Registration is required. An Eventbrite page is set up. Search for "2023 Environment <br />Commissions Conference MN." <br />• Staff submitted a pre -award information sheet to receive formula funding from the <br />Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant program, which is part of the <br />Bipartisan Infrastructure Law. Roseville is allocated to receive $76,370, which staff <br />requested to receive in the form of a technical assistance voucher to aid in climate <br />action planning. <br />• Staff attended Roseville's annual Earth Day event at the Harriet Alexander Nature <br />Center, providing a DIY bee house activity for kids, and outreach about sustainability <br />and Less Mow May. <br />• Page 2 <br />Page 15 of 185 <br />
