Staff will be working with the University of Minnesota's Institute on Environment <br />Sustainability Corps program during the summer with a part-time Sustainability Intern <br />starting on June 5. <br />Major Maintenance Activities: <br />• Street and Storm <br />o Responded to 30+ tree calls from April 1 storm. <br />o Snow season total 94.75" (Roseville measurements). <br />o All plow equipment deep cleaned. <br />o Ongoing repairs due to plow damage, storm sewer maintenance work, sign <br />work, asphalt patching and monitoring of water break patch conditions. <br />o Commercial area swept and began sweep of residential areas. <br />Water and Sanitary Sewer <br />o Located City -owned utilities for Gopher State One Call locate requests. <br />o Made weekly site visits to all lift stations. <br />o Continued replacing water meters and radios. <br />o One repair on our water main system for the month of April. <br />o Collected water samples for bacteriological and disinfection byproducts. <br />o New fence and gates installed around the generator for City Hall. <br />o Resumed jetting of 2022 season (behind due to equipment failures). <br />o Repaired 9 hydrants since the beginning of April. <br />o Inspected Sanitary manholes for the 2023 PMP. <br />o Generators serviced at City Hall, Fernwood lift station, and Cleveland lift <br />station. <br />o Tree fell on A/C unit at the booster station (getting a quote to repair). <br />o City Hall elevator repaired, heat pump for boiler replaced as well. <br />o Garage door #10 at public works building currently out of service (broken <br />springs). <br />o Minnesota Department of Health (MDH) Sanitary Survey complete. <br />o MDH Consumer Confidence Report completed. <br />o MDH Cybersecurity self -assessment in progress (due in 2024). <br />o MDH Lead and Copper Rule service line inventory reporting in progress (due <br />in 2024). <br />• Page 3 <br />Page 16 of 185 <br />
