<br />L <br /> <br />BE IT FUR~IEH RESOLVED the.t while at the same time our village is <br />seeking a permanent solution to this problem for our entire area we are <br />certain this granting of such permission will eJa.ble immediate construc- <br />tion of this $2,000,000 center which ,¡ill broaden our village tex base <br />to the benefit of all Ramsey County and Saint Paul citizens, to give em- <br />ployment to approximately 200 persons, improve Roseville1s total payroll <br />income, expand Saint Pal'..11 s mercantile appeal, and significantly make <br />possible this important step forward for the improvement of our community <br />and the entire county, and <br />BE IT FURTEER RESOL\ŒD, that the Village Clerk be authorized and <br />diredted to submit copies of this resolution to the Honorable }Íayor of <br />the City of Saint Paul and to the Common Council of the City of St. Paul <br /> <br />VIU..J..GE OF ROSE.'VILLE <br />Floyd C. It was placed <br />on file for the tL~e being. <br /> <br />spraying <br />oil on 11 <br /> <br />The Clerk read a letter from the Automatic Voting }~chine Co. which stated <br />they felt the Village needed additional voting machines for the 1956 <br />Presidential Election. The Council did not feel that more machines ,iere <br />needed at tiÌs time and the letter was placed on file. <br /> <br />voting <br />machi <br /> <br />The Village of J!'alcon Heights sent a letter to Roseville stating a member <br />of their COŒ1Cil would attend the joint meeting of Councils to discuss a <br />cormmmi ty gog pound. <br /> <br />dog pOlm <br /> <br />A letter was read from Mr. Bessemer of Burke St. in regard to the drainage <br />problem on Burke between Hamline and Pascal. The Engineer was instructed <br />to give those people levels èn this property so they know how to grade <br />their lots for drainage. <br /> <br />Olson moved, Willmus seconded a¡..mings be ordered for Liquor Store # 1 and <br />fans be ordered for both stores.
