<br />New Environmental Service Center Coming!
<br />Ramsey County is planning to build a new Environ-
<br />mental Service Center at 1700 Kent Street in Rose-
<br />ville. This facility will make it easier for residents to
<br />reduce waste, reuse and recycle. Services at the
<br />center will include:
<br />• Household hazardous waste and electronics
<br />drop off.
<br />• A free product reuse room.
<br />• Space for Fix -It Clinics and other environmental
<br />education and activities.
<br />Construction is expected to begin in late 2023.

<br />festival celebrating our clean lakes provides an opportunity for outdoor hands-on learn-
<br />ing about clean water, wildlife, and land and water conservation.
<br />Donate Good Stuff Eco Fair —Saturday, June 17, 9:OOam-4:OOpm. Experience sustainable living
<br />with creative & interactive exhibits, and activities for all ages. See website for item donation opportuni-
<br />ties and mini -classes available throughout the day! Arriving to the event via walking, biking, or public
<br />transportation is encouraged.
<br />Juneteenth—Saturday, June 17, 11:00am-3:00pm, Central Park in Roseville. This day celebrat-
<br />ing what's also known as Freedom Day, Jubilee Day, the Black Fourth of July, or Independence Day,
<br />commemorates the day in 1865 when slaves in Galveston, Texas were finally informed they were
<br />free, two years after the Emancipation Proclamation of Jan. 1, 1863. This event is a collaboration of
<br />Do Good Roseville, the City of Roseville, M Health Fairview, Roseville Community Fund, Bremer
<br />Bank, LICare, Mille Lacs Corporate Ventures, Caribou Coffee, and more.
<br />Rosefest—June 22-28, July 4. Every summer, Roseville Parks and Recreation looks forward to a
<br />summer filled with in -person events and programs. The biggest event, Rosefest, in late June, is a se-
<br />ries of events that includes the Rose Parade, Run for the Roses, Taste of Rosefest, theatrical and
<br />musical entertainment, and much more, culminating in the Party in the Park on the 4th of July. Taste
<br />of Rosefest (Thursday 6/22) and Run for the Roses (Saturday 6/24) are zero waste events!
