Logging is down 41 % in 2023 overall. <br />Nature Lawyers Up: A growing number of countries and courts say the environment should be en- <br />dowed with legal rights. This has been tested in Minnesota as well, in the case Manoomin, et.al.. v. <br />Minnesota Department of Natural Resources, the first "rights of nature" case to go before tribal <br />court.
