The Parks Department contacted <br />multiple vendors and received a quote from Total Mechanical Services to replace the compressor for an estimated <br />$14,500. The plan is to absorb the cost in the Parks Department operating budget. The work includes the following <br />services; recover and recycle burnt refrigent, remove and recycle shorted compressor, install new Copland <br />reciprocating compressor, install refrigeration isolation valves for suction and discharge lines, install liquid line and <br />suction line filter housings and acid core filters, install acid neuralizer kit, install refrigerant acculmulator, install <br />new refrigerant, start and test new compressor, and return after 24 hours to replace acid core refrigerant filters.
