Similarly, the two micro-units should not harm the public health, safety, or general welfare of the adjacent community when all requirements under State Statute are met. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Roseville City Council to APPROVE the requested Interim Use to temporarily allow two micro-unit dwellings at 2555 Victoria Street, which rely on 2561 Victoria Street for kitchen, toilet,bathing, laundry and emergency shelter facilities based on the information contained in the RPCA dated July 5, 2023 and the RCA dated July 24, 2023, information submitted by Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, and subject to the following conditions: 1. The IU expires on December 31, 2023; and 2. Two micro-unit dwellings, instead of three, are permitted until December 31, 2023; and 3. The Prince of Peace sacred community meets all requirements of the Sacred Communities and Micro-Unit Dwellings legislation which goes into effect on January 1, 2024. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Council Member Strahan and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor: Strahan,Etten, Groff, and Mayor Roe, and None voted against. WHEREUPON said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
