These two micro-unit dwellings will <br /> not be injurious to the surrounding neighborhood as the site on which the Sacred Community <br /> lies is large at 2.25 acres in area, is adjacent to Prince of Peace Church to the north that lies <br /> on over 6 acres of land, and abuts Central Park to the west and south therefore not in close <br /> proximity any residential homes. Similarly, the two micro-units should not harm the public <br /> health, safety, or general welfare of the adjacent community when all requirements under <br /> State Statute are met. <br /> NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Roseville City Council to APPROVE <br /> the requested Interim Use to temporarily allow two micro-unit dwellings at 2555 Victoria Street, <br /> which rely on 2561 Victoria Street for kitchen, toilet,bathing, laundry and emergency shelter <br /> facilities based on the information contained in the RPCA dated July 5, 2023 and the RCA dated <br /> July 24, 2023, information submitted by Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, and subject to the <br /> following conditions: <br /> 1. The IU expires on December 31, 2023; and <br /> 2. Two micro-unit dwellings, instead of three, are permitted until December 31, 2023; and <br /> 3. The Prince of Peace sacred community meets all requirements of the Sacred Communities <br /> and Micro-Unit Dwellings legislation which goes into effect on January 1, 2024. <br /> The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Council Member <br /> Strahan and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor: Strahan,Etten, Groff, and <br /> Mayor Roe, and None voted against. <br /> WHEREUPON said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
