Attachment 1 <br />lei <br />Public Works Department <br />Memo <br />To: Public Works Environmental and Transportation Commission Members <br />From: Jennifer Lowry, City Engineer <br />Date: July 25, 2023 <br />Re: Communications Items <br />The following are updates to projects and other activities happening in Roseville since <br />the last commission meeting: <br />Roseville Public Works Project updates: <br />• Villa Storm Water Improvements <br />o Project complete. <br />• 2023 PMP <br />o Construction anticipated from July 24 through end of September. <br />• Long Lake Lift Station <br />o Awaiting schedule from Pember Companies. <br />• McCarron's Retaining Wall <br />o Plan to rebid late 2023. Utility relocation complete. <br />• 2023 Pathways <br />o Construction anticipated from July 31 through October 18. <br />• 2023 Drainage Improvements <br />o Awarded to Bituminous Roadways. Schedule TBD. <br />• Hamline Pathway — CR C to Josephine Rd <br />o Ramsey County awarded funds for the project through their 2025 Local <br />Led Project Solicitation. <br />Other Agency Project Updates: <br />• TH 36 Ramps on Fairview Avenue (MnDOT) <br />o Rebuilding both ramps and three signals. <br />o Construction began June 1 and continues until State Fair. <br />o Full ramp closures started June 26 for up to 30 days. Fairview was closed <br />weekend of July 14. <br />• Old Highway 8 (Ramsey County) <br />o From CR D, north into New Brighton. Roseville impacts will be minimal <br />and occur when the signal at CR D is replaced. <br />o Construction began mid -May and is anticipated to continue through <br />summer. <br />• Highway 93 (Hennepin County) <br />o Replacement of pedestrian ramps at CR D and Highcrest Road. <br />Page 11 of 76 <br />
