Council Update: <br />• Below is a highlight of items recently presented to and/or acted on by the City <br />Council. More information can be found in the agenda packets and minutes for <br />the referenced Council meetings: <br />o July 24 <br />Approved Facility Management Agreement with McGough <br />Facility Management, LLC. <br />Approved preliminary plat for 711 Shryer Avenue / Villas of <br />Reservoir Woods. <br />• Approved Professional Services Agreement for County Road B <br />and Snelling Avenue (THE 51) Pedestrian Traffic Study 23-11. <br />o August 7 <br />• Approved final plat and Development Agreement for Danny Boy <br />Estates. <br />• Approved Be Active! Be Green! Bench Grant Agreement with <br />Ramsey County <br />o August 21 - planned <br />• Approve final plat and Development Agreement for 711 Shryer <br />Avenue / Villas of Reservoir Woods <br />• Adopt resolution prohibiting parking on Dale Street by the Nature <br />Center <br />• Adopt resolution prohibiting parking on Dale Street from Lovell to <br />Larpenteur <br />• Approve Cell Tower Lease Amendment for Dish Wireless <br />• Approve Cell Tower Lease Amendment for Alta Vista <br />Sustainability Updates <br />• Staff attended the Rice & Larpenteur Summer Block Party on Saturday, <br />August 12, providing outreach and education about energy efficiency, <br />sustainability, and recycling. Event was well -attended. <br />• The League of Minnesota Cities attended the August 21 City Council meeting to <br />present City Council and staff with the 2023 Sustainable City Award. <br />• Staff will be providing outreach and education at the Minnesota State Fair on <br />August 31 in the Eco Experience for electric bicycles and the Minnesota <br />GreenStep City program. <br />Staff is working to schedule a tour of Eureka Recycling's Material Recovery <br />Facility in Minneapolis for commission members. Commissioners received a poll <br />to indicate their availability via email. <br />Major Maintenance Activities: <br />• Street and Storm <br />o Completed 3rd mowing of right-of-way areas. <br />o Tree damage cleanup related to wind events. <br />o Started annual crack sealing maintenance project. <br />• Page 2 <br />Page 9 of 77 <br />
