Attachment 1 <br />lei <br />Public Works Department <br />Memo <br />To: Public Works Environmental and Transportation Commission Members <br />From: Jennifer Lowry, City Engineer <br />Date: September 26, 2023 <br />Re: Communications Items <br />The following are updates to projects and other activities happening in Roseville since the last <br />commission meeting: <br />Staff Updates: <br />o This month we welcomed Tracey as the new Engineering Technician III in <br />Engineering and Amanda as the new Maintenance Worker II in Utilities this month. <br />Roseville Public Works Project updates: <br />0 2023 PMP <br />• Construction began July 24 and was completed September 22. <br />0 Long Lake Lift Station <br />• Project has been awarded and is awaiting a schedule from the contractor. <br />0 2023 Pathway Project (Marion St., Lexington Avenue and Cleveland Avenue) <br />• Marion St. pathway and street construction is complete. <br />• Lexington Avenue and Cleveland Avenue retaining walls and pathways <br />construction is anticipated September 25 through October. <br />0 2023 Drainage Improvement Project <br />• Consists of stormwater improvements at Little Lake Johanna near County <br />Road D, Oakcrest Avenue manhole sump, Aglen Street pipe and Concordia <br />Meadows Atrium Pond maintenance. <br />• Construction began September 5 and should wrap up mid -October. <br />0 County Road B reconstruction <br />• Neighborhood meeting planned for October 12, 2023, from 5-7:30 at Corpus <br />Chrisi Catholic Church. Construction in summer/fall 2024. <br />o Snelling & County Road B Pedestrian Study <br />• Public engagement underway. Over 400 comments were received at pop up <br />events and via an online survey. Survey will close next Friday, <br />September 29. <br />o Villa Storm Water Improvements <br />• Contractor continues making corrections to weir structure. <br />o McCarron's Retaining Wall <br />• Plan to rebid for 2024 construction. Utility relocation complete and more <br />soil borings occurring soon. <br />o Willow Pond Outlet Structure Repair <br />• Site prep will begin late September and work will be completed this fall. <br />Page 15 of 89 <br />
