Attachment 1 <br />lei <br />Public Works Department <br />Memo <br />To: Public Works Environmental and Transportation Commission Members <br />From: Jennifer Lowry, City Engineer <br />Date: October 24, 2023 <br />Re: Communications Items <br />The following are updates to projects and other activities happening in Roseville since the last <br />commission meeting: <br />Roseville Public Works Project updates: <br />o Long Lake Lift Station <br />• Project has been awarded and is awaiting a schedule from the contractor. <br />0 2023 Pathway Project (Marion Street, Lexington Avenue and Cleveland Avenue) <br />• Marion Street pathway and street construction is complete. <br />• Lexington Avenue and Cleveland Avenue retaining walls and pathways are currently <br />under construction through November. <br />0 2023 Drainage Improvement Project <br />• Stormwater improvements at Little Lake Johanna near County Road D, Oakcrest <br />Avenue manhole sump, and Concordia Meadows Atrium Pond maintenance are <br />complete. Work on the Aglen Street pipe should be complete by end of October. <br />o County Road B reconstruction <br />• October 12 neighborhood meeting had 60+ residents in attendance. Feasibility Study <br />and layout going to Council November 6 for 2024 construction. <br />o Snelling & County Road B Pedestrian Study <br />• Public engagement generated over 700 comments at pop up events and via an online <br />survey. Long-term and short-term improvement recommendations are being <br />developed. <br />o Villa Storm Water Improvements <br />• Corrections to weir structure continue. <br />o McCarron's Retaining Wall <br />• Plan to rebid for 2024 construction. Utility relocation complete and more soil borings <br />underway. <br />o Willow Pond Outlet Structure Repair <br />Construction is underway and work is anticipated to be completed by end of <br />November. <br />o Tamarack & Wagner Pathways <br />• Notices were mailed to nearby residents sharing that the Tamarack and Wagner <br />Pathways will be considered by Council on October 23. <br />Page 11 of 82 <br />
