Intersection work at <br />County Road D is expected through early November. <br />Council Update: <br />o Below is a highlight of items recently presented to and/or acted on by the City Council. More <br />information can be found in the agenda packets and minutes for the referenced Council <br />meetings: <br />September 25 <br />• Adopted Preliminary 2024 Tax Levy and Budget. <br />• Accepted Public Improvements Related to the Lexington Plaza Project Agreement <br />• Approved Quote for 2023 Sewer Televising. <br />• Approved Construction Cooperation Agreement with Arden Hills for Hamline <br />Avenue Watermain. <br />• Accepted Public Improvements Related to the Midland Legacy Estate Public <br />Improvement Contract. <br />• Referred Street Name Change Policy Back to Staff/PWET. <br />October 9 & 16 <br />• No Public Works items. <br />October 23 —planned <br />• Approve Tamarack Pathway and Wagner Pathway Plans and Authorization for Bids. <br />• Approve Pathway Transfer Agreement with Southwind of Roseville Homeowners <br />Association. <br />• Approve Twin Lakes Trail Phase 2 Plans and Authorization for Bids. <br />• Approve Final Payment for 2023 Pavement Management Project <br />• Receive Feasibility Report and Order Public Hearing for County Road B <br />Reconstruction Project <br />• Update on Rosefest Planning for 2024 (Parks). <br />• Approve Concept Plan and Budget for New Park at 2381 County Road B (Parks). <br />• Approve Toward Zero Deaths (TZD) Agreement with City of St. Paul (Police). <br />• Consider Adoption of Position Classification & Compensation Study (Admin). <br />Sustainability Updates: <br />o Submitted application for a CERTs (Clean Energy Resource Teams) Seed grant to host an <br />energy resource fair and mobile food shelf with the Cities of Falcon Heights and Lauderdale <br />in fall 2024. <br />o Staff is serving on a Technical Advisory Team with the Metropolitan Council to advise on <br />regional climate and natural systems policy initiatives. <br />o Staff is collaborating with other municipalities to apply for other federal grants related to <br />energy efficiency and climate pollution reduction. <br />Major Maintenance Activities: <br />o Street and Storm <br />• Gates are now open for drive-in drop-off of leaves at the compost site.
