He <br />thought it seemed to be a little light compared to the residential. <br />Mr. Freihammer noted he will bring this information up to the Finance Department <br />so when this is looked at by the consultant in 2024 this can be reviewed. <br />Motion <br />Vice Chair Mueller moved, Member Cicha seconded, to recommend the City <br />Council approve the 2023 utility rate increases presented by the Finance <br />Department. <br />Ayes: 5 <br />Nays: 0 <br />Motion carried. <br />Motion <br />Member Hodder moved, Member Fergus seconded, to recommend the City <br />take a look at the variance between commercial and residential rates. <br />Ayes: 5 <br />Nays: 0 <br />Motion carried. <br />6. County Road B Update <br />Assistant Public Works Director/City Engineer Jennifer Lowry provided an update <br />on County Road B and asked for feedback and a recommendation to the City <br />Council on the layout. <br />Member Fergus wondered if the City has looked into permeable pavers for this <br />project. <br />Mr. Freihammer explained the City has looked into permeable pavers and do have <br />some in the City with mixed results. He explained the City will probably not do <br />that on the roadway with this project. He noted this project will actually reduce <br />stormwater thresholds and also reduce the impervious surface. <br />Ms. Smith reviewed the travel route plan with the Commission. She also discussed <br />how the assessment plan would work. <br />Vice Chair Mueller thanked staff for the presentation. She asked if there was <br />anyone in the public that would like to comment. <br />Mr. Keith Wietecki, 2428 Farrington Circle, indicated he is a member of the <br />Midland Hills Golf Course, and they are very concerned about what is going on and <br />has been working with staff. The reason why the golf course is concerned is where <br />the thirteenth green and tee is located will be affected. He noted a lot of the <br />Page 3 of 5 <br />
