Recommendations for future improvements (e.g., specific public education tools). 3.4 Annual Performance Review Meeting to Discuss Recommendations for Continuous Improvement Upon receipt of the Contractor's annual report, the City shall schedule a meeting with the Contractor and the City's Public Works Environment and Transportation Committee. The objectives of this meeting will include (but will not be limited to): • Review Contractor's annual report, including trends in recovery rate and participation. • Review efforts the Contractor has made to expand recyclable markets. • Review Contractor's performance based on feedback from residents to the Committee members and/or City staff. • Review Contractor's recommendations for improvement in the City's recycling program, including enhanced public education and other opportunities. • Review staff and Committee recommendations for improving Contractor's service. • Discuss other opportunities for improvement with the remaining years under the current Contract. Discuss actions Contractor is taking to reduce its carbon footprint. Discuss low performing areas and Contractor's outreach efforts. Compliance with City's DEI initiatives. 3.5 Publicity, Promotion, and Education The Contractor and the Recycling Coordinator shall work together in the preparation and distribution of educational materials to ensure accurate information and program directions.
