Roll call. ~yes(5)-Nayes(O). <br /> <br />A letter was read from a resident of li.osevil1e in regard <br />to a nuisance of dogs in her neighborhood. The letter has been <br />referred to the dog catcher. <br /> <br />The }~yor received a letter from Harold Woon of Local 49, <br />(Internat'l Union of Operating Engineers) recognized as <br />bargaining agent for the Maintenance Crew, asking for a meeting <br />with the Council. Lee, the newly electE:d Justice of the Pe~e, <br />asked the vouncil if there was anything they could do about him <br />getting more cases. Police Chief, Ray Goneau explained that it <br />is customary to give a new Justice just a couple of cases at a <br />time until he proves that he can h~e them. <br /> <br />Will. Mulligan, from the andier'~e, asked what right of appeal <br />we have from justice Court. He was told the case would go to <br />District Court. Herb Leier suggested that one ,Tustice hold <br />court I week and the other another week. J:'leGee moved, Hammersten <br />seconded, that Chief Goneau, I'Jr. Lee & Judge Gr¥, get together <br />to work out some mutual agreement. Roll call. Ayes(5)..Nayes(O). <br /> <br />1!-1r. Harnmerst-en stâted that a Youth Study <br />vommission was being organized in Roseville at the present time, <br />with the first meeting to be held Thurs. Eve. Jan. 12. <br /> <br />, <br />\ <br /> <br />A contract was received this date from Village Planners <br />Carl Gardner & Associates. <br />McGee moved, Hammersten seconded the Planning Commission & <br />Village Council be given an opportunity to inspect the contract <br />and report back at the mext meeting. Municipalities sent a letter stating <br />a luncheon meeting was to be held on Jan. 18 at the Contiriùation <br />for a study on youth.
