Evaluation, Assessment and Research <br /> <br />The Commission and staff discussed the benefits of CAPRA accreditation and any ways that the <br />Commission can support staff with the process. <br /> <br />Commissioner Baggenstoss commended staff and thanked them for undertaking this process to create <br />the best possible park system for residents. <br /> <br />c)2024 MEETING CALENDAR DRAFT <br /> <br />Commissioner Brownmoved to approve the draft 2024 Parks and Recreation <br />Commission Meeting Calendar.Commissioner Beckman seconded. <br />Roll Call <br />Ayes: Arneson, Baggenstoss, Beckman, Boulton, Brown, Dahlstrom, Matts-Benson. <br />Nays: None. <br />Abstain: None. <br />5) OTHER BUSINESS <br />a)DEPARTMENTAL UPDATES <br /> The City Council approved moving forward with engaging the community on potential <br />Rosebrook Park improvements. <br /> The City Council authorized a second-year agreement with Reach for Resources a contract <br />group who provides inclusion services on a one-on-one basis to allow greater participation in <br />Roseville Parks and Recreation programming. <br /> The site plan for the new park in the Midland Legacy Development was approved by the City <br />Council. Next steps are to complete construction documents and recommend a park name. <br /> Halloween Spook-tacular event on Saturday, October 28 (1-4pm) at the Harriet Alexander <br />Nature Center was a very successful event. <br />4 <br /> <br /> <br />
