<br />-4... <br /> <br />HcGee moved, Hamm.ersten seconded the matter be referred to the Planning <br />Commission, Engineer and Attorney for their recommendation and report. <br />Roll Call Ayes (5)-Nayes (0). <br /> <br />McGee moved, Hammersten seconded the Mayor be authorized to draw up a <br />letter for the Welcome Wagon and furnish them 300 co:pies welcoming new <br />residents to Roseville. Roll Call Ayes (5)..Nayes (0). <br /> <br />Village Engineer handed each member of the council a report of proposed <br />distribution of the 1956 Street Maintenance budget. Mayor Kitts comp- <br />limented Mr. Carley on preparing such a report for his department. <br />Mr. Carley also submitted a letter in regard to adding 2 classifications <br />to the street maintenance dept. ami also recommending pay increases to <br />some of the men. This matter will be discussed at a later date when <br />the Engineer meeeS' with the Council. <br /> <br />Hr. Hammersten suggested the moving of Liquor Store :/I 3 (Snelling Hub) <br />to another building at the Hub that is vacant. He said he felt it would <br />yield more business if it were in a more prominent location. It was <br />decided to hold that matter over until the council could study the <br />quarterly financial report of the Liquor Stores. <br /> <br />Ed Salverda, Electrical Inspector, asked if an ordinance could be drawn <br />up requiring that all illuminated signs mounted in this village shall be <br />listed by a Nationally recognized Laboratory or their equal. Mr. Carley <br />was asked to help prepare such an amendment to the Ordinance. <br /> <br />Carlson moved, Salverda seconded the following license application s be <br />approved.
