Ac c ordin.gly, I <br />am r,equesting that the Har-Mar application for this special <br />use permit be withdrawn or at least held in abeyan�e so that <br />ther�e will be no hea,ring on the matter at the council meetin� <br />September 27, 1963. <br />You will r�call that I di�cusaed this mattPr with both <br />yourself and �r. Be11 bef�re the h.earing on our special use <br />permit appl.ication before the Planning Commission� A� that �time <br />I indicated to you i,hat I felt that �he special use �ermit <br />application should be withdravrn because it was my ���nion then, <br />and it rem�.ins my apinion, that the general plan of develogment <br />for ret;ail op�ration� at Har-N[ar has a�ready been comprehensively <br />approved by the Planning Commission and by the council and that <br />no special use permit is n�cessary ta conduct the sale of <br />merchandi�e at r�etail witl�in the walls oi the center whether <br />such merchandise be automobiles, boats, airplanes, .shatguns <br />or diving gear. <br />I am not withdrawing this application because I find <br />anything objectionable in the conditions whic�. were attached by <br />the Planning Commissian.
