Thi is usually due to one of two causes. Either it is due tr
te TV receiver needing a. serviceman, or to a pocr indor antnna.
In many cases w observed owners using "rabbit-ear" antennas; in a
few cases they used "rabbit-ears°with calor ses, This is not reconm-'
ended by TV srvicemen or dealers.
We received several complaints that inteference was rcivd
only on rainy days or windy cays. Tuesday, October 15tho, was a
very rainy da; out of 1 honas inspected that day we saw nra unusual
,
interfernce attributai to rain. Likewise on October ].6th., when
it was very windy we aw no inteference that could be causd by the
wind. It is my conclusion that nei.ther wind or rain caused any change
in the quality of TV receptiQn, We did notice an increase in ANf
noise on the rainy day.
. .
In suanmary, it is my conclusion that N.S.P. should take corrct-
ive action on these homes listed xn Section4 of this regort and all
other claims within the 3Q0 feet sirvey area should be rejected; and
that as soon as I have been notified by N,5,P. that such action has
keen canp].eted, I will file the certification requird with the
Villag, as per thP Viliage Resolutian.
