<br />VILLAGE OF ROSEVILLE <br />Regular meeting of the Village Council Tuesday March 13, 19S6 8 p.m. <br /> <br />The Village Council met on the above date with the followW,g members present: <br />Garlson, SaJ.verda, Kitts, lvIcGee and Hammersten. Robert Gearin, attorney, <br />also present. <br /> <br />CARLSON MOVED, SALVERDA SECONDED the minutes of the March 6th meeting be <br />approved as presented. Roll Call Ayes (S)-Nayes (0). <br /> <br />Mr. Gaw from Hamline Twin City Real Estate Co. asked if anything had been <br />decided about the set-back of the Schultz property. He was told the Planning <br />Commission were holding to their recommendation of ISO foot set-back from <br />Raymond Ave. <br />HAMMERSTEN MOVED, CARISON SECONDED the matter be tabled till the meeting of <br />March 21 at 2 p.m. Roll Call Ayes {S)-Na.pps (0). <br /> <br />Ed Willmus presented the council with a contour map of the Roseville Terrace <br />Plat" which the Planning Commission had requested. The map will be referred <br />to the Planning Commission for their meeting on MaÐch 14. <br /> <br />HANMERSTEN MOVED, CARlSON SECONDED to set Thursday evening March 22 at <br />7:30 P. M. as the date for the council to meet with the representative 6f <br />Local 49. Roll Call Ayes (S)-Nayes (0). <br /> <br />Mr. Raskin from the Super Market at Rice St. and Co. Rd.. C asked permission <br />to erect a temporary building in the front of the existing store. <br />HAMMERSTEN MOVED, CARISON SECONDED permission be granted providing they hold <br />a 30 toot set back from the right-ot-way of Rice St. Roll Call Ayes (S)_J:"arps <br /> <br />Leonard Keyes attorney, appeared in regard to the moving of a house to <br />Roselawn and ånelling. According to the code the Village Council has the <br />right to give pemission for the moving of a house and Mr. Keyes asked for <br />this permission forMr. Steiner, the owner. Mayor Kitts asked if there were <br />any objectors "Who wanted to be heard. There were none. <br />MCGEE MOVED, CARlSON SECJNDED that 11r. Steiner, owner, be granted permission <br />to move a house to Roselawn and Snellin~ provid.i~ it meets with all pro- <br />visions of the code. Roll Call Ayes (5)-Nayes (o). <br /> <br />Building Inspector, Jim Borden, s~ted a Mr. Lundberg had asked permissioJ;lt.o <br />move a house to Eldridge St. east of Cleveland. He has written permission <br />from tie aàjoining property owners. <br />HlMMERSTEN MOVED, CARLSON SECONDED lhat Mr. Lundberg be permitted to move a <br />home to Eldridge east of Cleveland~ and must meet with all provisions of our <br />code. Roll Call Ayes {,)-Nayes (0). <br /> <br />Mrs. Miesler, of 1929 Stanford, pppeared in regard to dividing her lot at the <br />N. W. corner of Hamline and Roselawn. She was told the attorney will put the <br />provisions of the dividing in resolution form and present it to the Council <br />at the next meeting. <br /> <br />Don Roberts asked the Council for a letter stating the streets in Rosedale <br />Terrace had bven constructed according to the Village specifications. <br />HAMMERSTEN MOVED, CARLSON SECONDED Mr. Roberts be given a letter stating <br />the roads in Rosedale Terrace had been constructed a.ccording to Village <br />specifications, but the streets have not been accepted for maintenance at <br />this time.
