EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING

<br /> CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE
<br /> Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of
<br /> Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota,was duly held on the 12th day of February, 2024, at
<br /> 6:00 p.m.
<br /> The following members were present: Strahan, Etten, Schroeder, Groff, and Roe; and the
<br /> following were absent: None.
<br /> Member Groff introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption:
<br /> RESOLUTION No. 12052
<br /> RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT
<br /> FOR SOUTH MCCARRONS RETAINING WALL PROJECT 22-22
<br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to advertisement for bids for the improvement, according to the plans
<br /> and specifications thereof on file in the office of the Manager of said City, said bids were
<br /> received on Tuesday, February 6, 2024, at 2:30 p.m., opened and tabulated according to law
<br /> and the following bids were received complying with the advertisement:

<br /> WHEREAS, it appears that Veit&Company, Inc.,is the lowest responsible bidder for the Base
<br /> Bid plus Alternate 1 at the tabulated price of$1,176,720.50.
<br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Roseville,
<br /> Minnesota:
<br /> 1. The Mayor and City Manager are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract
<br /> with Veit & Company, Inc. for $1,176,720.50 in the name of the City of Roseville for
<br /> the above improvements according to the plans and specifications thereof heretofore
<br /> approved by the City Council and on file in the office of the City Manager.
