Case No. 523-69 (Continued)
suggests that this is a problem with major proportians,

3. There is also the question of fihe priority of having interchanges every half
mi(e along Snelling Avenue. You are aware that the Metropolitan Cauncil
has taken a strong position recently afitempting to prevent fihe over-develop-
ment of inerchrges on such a short modular. Except under conditions where
we are serving major commercial uses, as is the case on Highway 3b, we feel
that generally there is a good point in attempting to reduce the number of
interchanges an limited access highways.
4. Lrrge scale drawings of the proposed pfan will be reviewed at the pubiic
hearingat which time we can consider additionai detail questions with
respect to this proposal . It would be appropriate, in our opinion, to hold
meetings with the affected developers contiguous to Snelling Avenue before
taking ony final action on the plans in qvestion.
