1 <br />DIVISION 0 <br />- CONDITIONS OF THE CONTRACT <br />00800 - SUPPLEMENTAL CONDITIONS <br />I. SCOPE AND <br />INTENT <br />A. The Supplemental Conditions modify, amplify, delete and/or add to the <br />General Conditions. ARTICLES OF SUPPLEMENTAL CONDITIONS TO TIE GENERAL CONDITIONS <br />Article 1 - Contract Documents: <br />A. Add the following new subparagraph 1.1.5 Lo 1.1: <br />"1.1.5 PROJECT MANUAL <br />The Project Manual is the volume which includes the Bidding Documents <br />requirements, sample forms and certain of the Contract Documents such as <br />the Conditions of the Contract and the Specifications." <br />B. Add the following to subparagraph 1.2.3: <br />Detailed specifications shall take priority over general specifications <br />and larger scale drawings shall take <br />precedence over smaller scale <br />drawings. In case of disagreement between the drawings and <br />specifications, or within either document itself, the better quality or <br />greater quantity of work shall be estimated <br />Owner's/Architect's attention for decisioand the matter drawn to the <br />C. Add the following to subparagraph 1.2.4: <br />"Wherever any provision of any Section of the Specification conflicts with <br />any agreements or regulations of any kind <br />at any time in force among <br />membes of any Trade Associationv Unions, or Councils, which regulate or <br />distinguish <br />what work shall or shall not be included in the work of any <br />particular trade, the Contractor shall make all <br />necessary arrangements to <br />reconcile any such conflicts without delay, damage, or cost to the Ow ner <br />and without <br />recourse to the Architect or the Owner." <br />5264 <br />SECTION 00800 - 1 <br />
