DIVISION 0 ' <br />CONDITIONS OF THE CONTRACT <br />00800 - SUPPLEMENTAL CONDITIONS <br />1 <br />Article 4. - Contractor: <br />A. In 4.1.1, add the following new subparagraph: <br />4.1.1.1 The Contractor shall have charge of and be responsible for the <br />entire work under this Contract until its completion and final acceptance <br />by the Owner. Any imperfect, damaged, destroyed or unfaithful work <br />discovered any time before final acceptance of the work embraced in this <br />Contract and within the warranty period under corrected upon request of the Owner/Architect.this Contract, shall be <br />B. In 4.4, add the following new subparagraphs: <br />"4.4.3 Not later than 15 days from the Contract Date, the Contractor <br />shall provide a list showing the <br />name of the manufacturer proposed to be <br />used for each of the products identified <br />P e tified in the Specifications and, where <br />applicable, the name of the installing Subcontractor. <br />4.4.4 The Architect will promptly reply in writing to the Contractor <br />stating whether the Owner or the Architect, after due investigation, has <br />reasonable objection to any <br />such proposal. If adequate data on any <br />proposed manufacturer or installer is not, available, the Architect <br />may <br />state that action will be deferred until the Contractor provides further <br />data. Failure of the Owner <br />or Architect to reply promptly shall <br />constitute notice of no reasonable objection. Failure to object to a <br />manufacturer shall not constitute a waiver of any of the requirements f <br />the Contract Documents, and all q <br />by the listed <br />manufacturer must conform to suchrrequirements." <br />C. In 4.12.4 insert the following sentence, <br />"In reviewing, processing, and submitting shop drawings, Contractor shall <br />comply with requirements of Division 1 <br />- SHOP DRAWINGS PROJECT <br />SAMPLES, SECTION 01340." DATA, AND <br />0. Add the following new subparagraphs: <br />4.14.3 Altering or cutting of any structural members in any way will not <br />be allowed without written approval of the Architect. All <br />cuttingshall <br />be carefully done, to minimize repair, core drill concrete for h <br />holes 6" in <br />diameter and smaller; u <br />use of star drill or jack -hammer not permitted. For <br />larger openings, saw <br />-cut outline and break out; take care to prevent <br />excessive spalling on reverse side. <br />4.14.4 All patching shall be done in neat and workmanlike manner by <br />mechanics of the trade involved, with material and finish to match <br />adjacent surfaces. <br />5264 SECTION 00800 - 2 , <br />I <br />
