In 9.8.2, add the following: <br />Within 30 days after the Certificate of Substantial Completion has been <br />issued, the Contractor shall be paid a sum sufficient to increase the <br />total payments to 100 percent of the Contract Suer, less such retainage as <br />the Architect shall determine for all incomplete work and unsettled <br />claims. <br />Article 10 - Protection of Persons and Propertyâ–º, <br />A. In paragraph 10.1.1, add the following sentences: <br />Each Contractor shall be responsible for the payment of all fines levied <br />against the Owner/Architect for deficiencies relating to conduct of his <br />work. <br />B. <br />In paragraph 10.2.1. substitute the word "necessary" in lieu of <br />"reasonable". <br />C. <br />In paragraph 10.2.3, substitute the word "necessary' in lieu of <br />"reasonable*. <br />D. <br />In 10.2 add the following new paragraphs: <br />10.2.8 Water Precautions <br />10.2.8.1 for entire duration of the Contract, keep all parts of site, <br />including excavations, t,-. from any accumulation of water, no matter what <br />the source or cause of such water, by adequate trenching and pumping as <br />required. <br />10.2.8.2 Pumping shall include adequate pumps, hose, strainers, and other <br />appurtenances, fuel, power, trenching, drains, sheathing, as well as labor <br />and maintenance, including moving and/or relocation of pumps and <br />appurtenances as required. <br />10.2.8.3 Dispose of water in such a manner as will not endanger public <br />health or cause damage or expense to public or private property. <br />Cooperate with requirements of any pu lic agencies having ,jurisdiction. <br />If sewers and streets are used for drainage or disposal of water during <br />4 <br />5264 <br />SECTION 00800 _ <br />E <br />
