1 <br />DIVISION 1 <br />GENERAL REQUIREMENTS <br />01340 - SHOP DRAWINGS, P <br />Submit one reproducible transparency and one blue <br />drawing until approval is obtained. Allow clear space, approximately 40 square inches, for stamping on <br />right hand side. Contractor place review stamp on drawings, prior to <br />submission to Architect, as indication of his checking and <br />verification of dimensions and coordination with interrelated items. <br />Architect shall also check and stamp submissions as above. <br />C. Submit six (6) copies of product data like egv,ipment brochures, cuts of <br />fixtures, or standard catalog items. Indicate exact sizes, dimensions, <br />performance characteristics, capacities, wiring diagrams, controls and <br />other pertinent data. <br />D. Begin no work which requires submittals until return of submittals with <br />Architect's stamp indicating review and notation "approved as submitted" <br />or "approvedd as noted". <br />5. 14UBMITTALS: SAMPLES <br />A. Submit to address indicated above, or construct on site if required. <br />Identify samples as to manufacturer, item, use, type, project designation, <br />specification section or drawing detail reference, color, range, texture, <br />finish and other pertinent data. <br />B. Submit with transmittal. Include brochures, shop drawings, and <br />installation instructions. Contractor place review stamp on sample <br />transmittals as indication of his checking and verification of dimensions <br />and coordination with interrelated items. Architect shall also check and <br />stamp submissions as above. <br />C. Reviewed samples submitted or constructed, constitute criterion for <br />judging completed work. Finish work or items not equal to samples will be <br />rejected. <br />0. Architect may, at his option, retain samples for comparison purposes until <br />completion of work. Samples will be returned or may be used in the work <br />unless technical section specifically indicates otherwise. Remove samples <br />when directed. Pay all costs of furnishing or constructing, and removing <br />samples. <br />6. REV IEW <br />A. Drawings receiving Architect "approved as submitted" or "approved as <br />noted" comment will be so stamped, and returned to Contractor.
