DIVISION 1 GENERAL REQUIREMENTS 01500 - TEMPORARY FACILITIES 1 7. CONTRACTOR'S FIELD OFFICE A. General Contractor shall provide and maintain a field officeand telephone service until the project is complete for use by all prime contractors and Architects, and shall pay for all local telephone service. Long distance calls shall be paid for by person placing call. 8. TEMPORARY ENCLOSURES A. General Contractor shall furnish and install any temporary enclosures, doors and transparent plastic covered windows required to protect building ' from damage due to vandalism, or the elements, or to maintain suitable temperature during installation or finishing work. Provide all items required to ensure safety of individuals on site. ' 9. TEMPORARY STORAGE AND WORKING AREAS A. Each contractor shall provide suitable and sufficient enclosed and covered spaces with raised flooring to protect materials and equipment from damage by weather or construction work. B. Arrange and locate temporary structures and sheds to avoid interfering with construction. C. Prior to start of work, Owner/Architect shall meet with all contractors to ' arrange and prepare a plot plan defining working and storing areas for each contractor and traffic areas. Except as specifically provided, working and storing outside these areas will not be permitted. ' D. Within area designated for his use, each contractor shall provide sufficient temporary items necessary to protect his materials and equipment. E. Each contractor shall maintain his storage and working areas in a clean and orderly condition. Upon completion of his work, or sooner if directed by Owner, remove temporary structures and leave area in clean and orderly condition. 10. TEMPORARY LUNCH FACILITIES A. As arranged by the General Contractor. 11. TEMPORARY FENCES AND BARRICADES A.
