DIVISION 1 <br />GENERAL REQUIREMENTS <br />01500 - TEMPORARY FACILITIES <br />existing service, fuel costs will be paid by Contractor. Any warranty or <br />guarantee period on any permanent items used during temporary heating <br />periods shall commence on date of final acceptance of building by Owner. ' <br />C. In the event that temporary gas fired or open flame heating devices are <br />used, they shall comply with local, state and federal laws, codes and <br />ordinances. <br />4. TEMPORARY ELECTRICITY <br />A. The Electrical Contractor shall pay for required temporary power services <br />for the entire project for use by all trades. <br />B. Each Contractor shall provide extension cords required for his operations. <br />• <br />C. Each Contractor shall provide any heavy duty electrical power, exceeding I <br />available temporary power, required for his operations. <br />D. Prior to substantial completion replace all burned out bulbs and tubes. <br />E. Electrical Contractor to furnish, install and maintain all necessary <br />1 <br />safety, warning and security lights to prevent injury to persons or damage <br />to property. , <br />5. TEMPORARY WATER <br />A. <br />Mechanical Contractor shall <br />make all <br />arrangements for temporary water <br />, <br />required during construction <br />and pay <br />for all temporary water required <br />during construction and pay <br />for all <br />terporary permits, connection meters, <br />and all water used on the job. <br />' <br />6. <br />TEMPORARY TOILETS <br />A. <br />Mechanical Contractor shall <br />provide <br />temporary toilet facilities for use of <br />, <br />all workmen. <br />B. <br />Provide facilities complying <br />with local <br />and State sanitary laws and OSHA <br />regulations. <br />C. Maintain in clean, sanitary condition. <br />D. Mechanical Contractor shall provide temporary fixtures in building as soon <br />as conditions permit.
