1 <br />r <br />1 <br />1 <br />I <br />1 <br />E <br />1 <br />1 <br />1 <br />1 <br />L7 <br />1 <br />I <br />DIVISION 2 <br />SITE WORK <br />02100 - CLEARING OF SITE <br />I. GENERAL <br />A. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, tools, equipment and <br />perform all work and services necessary for or incidental to the <br />furnishing and installation, complete, of all operations in connection <br />with the clearing of the site in accordance with provisions of the <br />Contract Documents, and completely coordinated with that of all other <br />trades. <br />B. Although such work is not specifically shown or specified, all supplemen- <br />tary or miscellaneous items, appurtenances and devices incidental to or <br />necessary for a sound, secure, complete and compatible installation shall <br />be furnished and installed as part of this work. <br />C. Work required under this section includes, but is not limited to <br />furnishing and installing the following: <br />1. Removing and disposing of the trees, shrubs, brush, stumps, roots, <br />windfalls and other plant life. <br />D. Related work specified elsewhere: <br />1. Section 02200 - Earthwork <br />2. JOB CONDITIONS <br />A. Limits of Work: The drawings show project site boundary lines for the <br />purpose of identification; within which contract work is confined. <br />B. Protection: The Contractor shall protect existing trees, sidewalks, <br />drives, curbs, utilities, buildings, or other facilities on or adjacent to <br />the site from damage from the work of this Section where such items are to <br />remain. Existing trees shall be protected from damage, as necessary <br />during earthwork operations. He shall repair any damage which he causes <br />before the completion of his work or sooner if so directed by the <br />Architect/Engineer. <br />1. Restore all areas disturbed by tra;fic, construction or storage of <br />materials to the original grades and conditions. <br />C. Barricades: Barricades, warning light signs and other items of protection <br />shall be provided and maintained as required by the State Regulations and <br />Safety Rules during the execution of this work. <br />D. Public Utilities: The Contractor shall send proper notice, make the <br />necessary arrangements and perform all required services in the care and <br />maintenance of all utilities which may be encountered during this work. <br />The Contractor shall assume full responsibility and pay the costs for such <br />damage to these items. <br />5264 <br />SECTION 02100 - 1 <br />
